NFA - NEED FOCUSED ADVICE

Sometimes our clients are just looking to sort out one particular issue. They want the quality of the fee based advice process but do not want to carryout a full financial review. To help in such instances we have developed the NFA process, still doing all the right steps but obviously focused on your particular need. We will cover your goals, what needs to be done and get you a written recommendation for any needed solution. Other issues that arise in this work will be mentioned but additional fees may apply to do something about them.

MyAdviser will carry out a very comprehensive fact find on you and we will jointly agree an action plan focused on your particular need. Here are the 5 steps to the NFA Service.

  1. Need Focused Advice Pack: After you complete the on-line request form - see below, MyAdviser will contact you to discuss your overall needs. This conversation is reasonably quick and is designed to ensure that we can add value to your situation and make sure you are happy to proceed. We will then send you the Need Focused Advice (NFA) pack by email. The cover letter details how the agreed service works. A Tele-Interview is organised to complete a fact finding process and all the key information on your needs and finances are gathered.
  2. Needs Analysis: Once the Tele-Interview is completed, MyAdviser will let you know when your case will be worked on and when you will get your NFA report. There are usually a few conversations to clarify any issues but after that your NFA report is completed.
  3. Agreed Action Plan: Once this is done and you have had a chance to digest the NFA report, we discuss the issues in your report. At this stage emails and phone conversations are exchanged, concluding with an agreed action plan.
  4. Total Market Search for Products/Solutions: With your agreement a full personalised review of all the possible products/solutions in Ireland will be carried out for you and a detailed written recommendation will be made on which product(s) is best suited to your need(s). This step covers the whole market and makes sure you are getting the best plan for your needs. Once agreement is reached on the best solution, it will be set up with the selected provider; most of the time at a discount compared to the full commission versions - saving you a lot of money.

There is no substitute for taking a total look at your finances and without doing such work, it is impossible to provide truly professional independent financial advice. The main banks offer financial review services but they are quick and light weight and should be avoided. The only solutions they will put in place are their own very limited plans, which are higher cost and poor performers compared to the alternatives available through MyAdviser.

Most brokers or advisers offer only commission based services, so if you do not buy from their limited range of plans then they don't get paid. It is likely that their focus will be on selling high commission plans rather than advice. For a set fee of €500 you can access an Authorised Adviser and get truly independent professional advice.

How can I get it?
To access the Need Focused Advice service click the button below. Please read the notes below before proceeding.

* PLEASE NOTE:

  • This service is only available to individual and their spouse/partner. If you need advice for a company or organisation then contact MyAdviser directly.
  • If face to face meetings are agreed to be part of the process then an additional hourly rate of €150 will apply.
  • If the best product for you is provided by a company that does not pay commission to advisers then you will pay their normal market rates for that product - i.e. there is no discount possible. The advantage to you of dealing with MyAdviser is that you will know that you selected the right product for your specific needs. It is very rare that such direct providers can compete with the discounted deals MyAdviser can access but your market search will always cover all plans available, so you know you are getting the best.
